Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and younger people for those with special education and behavioural needs, and will assist in providing educational support.

Responsibilities:- As a grade 4 Teaching Assistant TA implementing lesson plans and activities- Assist students with alternative learning- Provide one-on-one help to students who require additional support- Collaborate with the teaching team to create a positive learning environment- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff- Updating, maintaining and monitoring pupil plans EHCP

Requirements:- Experience working with children, especially those with special education needs- Ability to educate and engage students effectively- Strong communication skills to interact with students, parents, and colleagues- Educated with GCSE Maths and English or equivalent- NVQ L3 qualification or willing to work towards

SALARY/ HOURS

Salary for a grade 4 Teaching Assistant is £18,803 - £20,107 actual annual salary working 33 hours per week Mon-Fri term time only + 5 inset days + amazing benefits working for our Wellspring trust (please review our trust website)
