About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in the heart of Horsforth, Leeds (LS18). This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional to become a vital part of a supportive and forward-thinking science department. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching all three sciences (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics) across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with opportunities for Key Stage 5 teaching for the right candidate.

Requirements:

  • Participate in departmental and school-wide meetings and training sessions.
  • Maintain effective discipline and a positive classroom atmosphere.
  • Communicate with parents and guardians about student progress.
  • Contribute to the school's extra-curricular activities and school events.

  • Undertake pastoral duties and support student well-being.
  • Manage classroom resources and equipment effectively.
