Tax Specialist - Robert Half : Job Details

Robert Half are recruiting for a Tax Specialist with detailed Excise duty experienceReporting to the Tax Manager

The role is Hybrid with travel to home offices closest to home address around Midlands or Hemel Hempstead

Role Responsibilities:

• Organise and run Excise Duty Due Diligence
• Manage due diligence questionnaires for duty suspended customers & suppliers.
• Liaise with HMRC and Due Diligence Group on Excise Duty matters.
• Liaise with third party auditors to organise and feedback on duty suspended customer audits.
• Support with design of taxation modules of new ERP system.
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the group's tax position, implementing necessary adjustments to maintain compliance
• Ad-hoc assistance with preparation and review of tax-related financial reporting schedules in respect of statutory reporting, including tax provisioning.
• Assist with the timely and accurate preparation of corporation tax returns, tax payment calculations & instructing payments.
• Liaise with Auditor's Tax Team for interim and full-year external reporting requirements.
• Support tax aspects of internal forecasting and budgeting.
