Role responsibilities

• Preparing personal and corporate tax returns for a wide range of clients
• Assisting with tax computations and gathering supporting information
• Liaising with clients to resolve queries and collect documentation
• Supporting senior team members with advisory work and HMRC correspondence
• Keeping up to date with changes in tax legislation and applying them in client work
• Helping ensure compliance deadlines are met and maintaining accurate client records
• Supporting internal knowledge sharing and contributing to a high standard of client service

Candidate requirements

• Studying towards ATT or CTA, or qualified by experience
• Prior experience in personal or corporate tax within an accountancy practice
• Good working knowledge of tax return preparation and UK tax rules
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A positive, proactive approach to client service and team collaboration
