Tax Manager (UK & International) - Atkinson Moss : Job Details

Atkinson Moss have been engaged to assist this leading global organisation with the appointment for a Tax Manager (UK & International). This is an incredible opportunity to join a rapidly growing business and really add value to the role and therefore the wider company. This opportunity would suit either an existing Tax Manager, or someone looking to step up into such role.

Location: Norwich (Hybrid working)

Salary: £70-80,000 doe (plus benefits to include car scheme, bonus etc)

Key responsibilities:

• Hands-on role delivering timely, accurate and reliable information for tax compliance, tax returns & submissions and tax planning requirements.
• Ensure compliance of all direct and indirect business taxes.
• Liaising with third party legal, audit and tax advisers in respect of compliance and tax planning requirements.
• In conjunction with the SLT, identify, develop and maintain appropriate tax policies and procedures across the Group.
• To provide training, development, briefings for all appropriate directors, managers and
• Actively participate in reviewing markets, projects, business proposals, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures etc where tax may be a relevant factor.
• Compile and present regular reporting of compliance and tax issues.

Experience required:

• To be considered for this role you will be ACA or CTA qualified or equivalent with experience within in an in-house Tax role
• Knowledge of tax accounting under FRS102 and IFRS; prior experience of US GAAP is useful but not obligatory.
• Corporate Tax Compliance, Reporting and Advisory
• Attention to detail is critical as is strong business partnering skills
• Experience of using large ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP would also be an advantage.
• Good project management skills, including meeting agreed deadlines, taking ownership and working with a wide variety of stakeholders.
