Role: UK Tax Manager (Diagnostics)

Location: Remote for the right candidate, or option to be based at Welwyn

Hours: Full-time

Pay: £500 - £600 per day PAYE basic OR £663.19 - £795.82 per day UMB

6 Month Contract (Inside IR35) - possible extension

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a UK Tax Manager to join one of our longstanding clients within the Diagnostics division. This position supports strategic tax leadership across UK operations, with a strong focus on VAT and indirect tax. The client is seeking someone available immediately and open to remote working for the right candidate.

The Requirements:

• Strong VAT background
• Extensive UK tax experience within a multinational or professional services environment
• Ability to provide strategic and operational support across indirect and direct tax matters
• Professional tax or accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CTA) preferred
• Strong communication and business partnering skills
• Available immediately or with a fairly short notice period

The Role:

• Act as a strategic tax partner to the Diagnostics business in the UK
• Oversee and support VAT compliance, governance, and advisory matters
• Contribute to tax planning, risk management, and process improvements
• Work closely with senior leaders, finance teams, and external advisors
• Support business transactions, projects, and tax authority interactions
