Job Description :

This is an excellent opportunity for a Tax Analyst to play a key role in a highly regarded and globally successful law firm. Based in London and reporting into the Senior Tax Manager, you will join a collaborative and dynamic Finance department of over 70 professionals, with a dedicated Tax team of three. You will also work closely with the Finance Director and liaise with external tax advisors.

The role is both broad and technically challenging, and will suit someone who enjoys navigating complex tax environments. You will support the preparation of LLP tax computations for the firm’s partners and contribute to the corporate tax affairs of the partnership. The remit also includes partner tax calculations, assistance with VAT investigations and tax audits.

This is a multi-jurisdictional role, and while it is predominantly UK-focused, there will be exposure to overseas tax matters. Experience working across multiple tax jurisdictions would be a significant advantage.

Key responsibilities

Preparation of LLP and corporate tax computations

Support in the delivery of partner tax calculations

Assist with VAT queries, investigations, and tax audits

Contribute to international tax compliance and advisory projects

Ensure accurate and timely statutory tax reporting

Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external advisors

About you

We are looking for an individual who is proactive, detail-oriented, and confident working in a technically complex tax environment. You will have:

At least 2 years' experience in tax accounting, compliance, and reporting

Experience working in or with professional services or partnership structures

CTA qualification (or working towards) is desirable

A strong understanding of UK tax, with exposure to international jurisdictions an advantage

Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels

You will be joining a supportive and inclusive working environment with hybrid work (3 days in the office) with some flexibility.The salary on offer is between £55,000 - £70,000 per annum dependent on the level of experience plus benefits package. The role offers hybrid working (three days per week in the office, two days per week working from home) and the firm may consider candidates looking for part-time work (four days per week).
