Tax AccountantLeeds - Hybrid £45,000 – £55,000

We’re partnering exclusively with a well-established, forward-thinking business in Leeds with global reach who are looking for an experienced Tax Accountant to join their finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong UK tax compliance expertise to take ownership of all things tax, work closely with senior stakeholders and advising on upcoming projects. 

The RoleAs Tax Accountant, you’ll be responsible for:

• Managing all aspects of UK tax compliance, including VAT and Corporation Tax returns

• Overseeing the preparation, review, and submission of tax filings

• Maintaining and developing effective working relationships with HMRC

• Assisting on upcoming business projects from a tax perspective – ensuring compliance and maximising efficiency in decision-making

• Providing advice and guidance on tax matters to the wider finance team

About YouWe’re looking for someone who is confident, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative finance environment. You will ideally be:

• Professionally qualified – ACA, ACCA, CIOT, or ATT 

• Experienced in UK tax compliance, with exposure to VAT and Corporation Tax

• Skilled at managing relationships with external stakeholders, particularly HMRC

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced commercial environment
