We’re partnering with a leading European engineering firm that is expanding its footprint across the UK, USA, Canada, and Central Europe. As our Talent Acquisition Specialist, you’ll be at the forefront of this growth—sourcing, attracting, and onboarding top-tier engineering talent across borders.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for roles up to manager level across multiple regions, ensuring a seamless and engaging candidate experience.
- Drive international hiring campaigns—particularly in the United States, Canada, Germany, and the UK—tailoring strategies to local markets and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with global stakeholders, including the European Recruitment Manager, to align hiring needs with business goals.
- Build talent pipelines for engineering, technical, and operational roles using a mix of direct sourcing, agency partnerships, and employer branding.
- Advise hiring managers on international recruitment best practices, including visa processes, cultural nuances, and market trends.
- Champion onboarding excellence, working with HR and Payroll to ensure new hires feel welcomed, informed, and supported from day one.
- Lead training sessions for managers on recruitment, interviewing, and inclusive hiring practices.
- Act as Safeguarding Lead, supporting reporting and leading a cross-functional working group to uphold employee wellbeing.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, analysing feedback and driving improvements in collaboration with HR leadership.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience in international recruitment, ideally within engineering, manufacturing, or technical sectors.
- Strong understanding of global hiring practices, including employment law, visa sponsorship, and cultural considerations.
- Experience managing complex employee relations issues such as disciplinary, absence, and TUPE.
- A consultative and coaching approach to working with hiring managers and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and confidence using modern HR systems.
- CIPD qualification (or working towards) is a plus.
