�? Job Opportunity: Systems Accountant (Xero) �?

Are you a finance professional with a passion for systems implementation? Are you looking for a short-term interim contract?

Look no further! We’re seeking a Systems Accountant to join a business in the Shrewsbury area for a 2 to 3 month project.

Reed Finance are working with a small business, circa £2 million turnover with a site in Shrewsbury.  They are in the process of implementing Xero and need a finance expert to help with the transition.

• Xero Mastery: You will be a Xero expert, ideally with previous system implementation experience.
• Cost Accounting: Experience ofcapturing, analysing, and reporting a company’s costs, providing information for the board to make informed business decisions.
• Adaptability: Ability to collaborate at all levels of the business, up to Director level.

• Xero Expertise: Experience using Xero is essential. 
• Detail-Oriented: The devil is in the details, and you’ll be our guardian. Accuracy matters.
• Analytical Mindset: Numbers don’t scare you; they intrigue you. You love dissecting financial data.
• Team Player: You’ll collaborate with the whole team. Communication and teamwork are your superpowers.  Experience of working with a small business advantageous.

This will be initially a 2 to 3 month project.  Once the system is up and running, there could be potential to pick up cost accounting for the business.
