Systems Accountant - Accountable Recruitment : Job Details

Urgent Requirement: Systems Accountant | Liverpool | £350-£450 per day (potentially outside IR35)

We're currently supporting a client in Liverpool who has an immediate need for an experienced Systems Accountant to join them on an interim basis.

The OpportunityThis business is in the middle of a complex reconciliation project involving two systems that aren't currently aligning. They need someone with strong technical expertise to step in, investigate discrepancies, and improve reporting.

What you'll be doing:

• Leading reconciliation work between two finance systems

• Building and refining a suite of Power BI reports to improve visibility and control

• Collaborating with finance and IT teams to resolve issues and implement solutions

• Supporting ongoing systems improvements to enhance data integrity

About you:

• Strong experience as a Systems Accountant or similar finance systems role

• Advanced SAP skills

• Solid track record of using Power BI to design and deliver dashboards and reports

• Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently to deliver results

• Available to start at short notice
