We are urgently seeking a reliable and experienced Switchboard Operator to join our team in Harefield. This is a key role supporting a busy healthcare environment, ideal for someone with previous NHS experience and strong communication skills.

• Operate the switchboard system to manage and direct incoming calls efficiently.
• Provide courteous and professional service to patients, staff, and external callers.
• Route calls to the appropriate departments or individuals.
• Handle urgent or emergency calls with discretion and speed.
• Maintain accurate records of messages and call logs.

• Previous experience in a switchboard or receptionist role is essential.
• NHS experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of Mitel phone systems is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexibly across day, night, evening, and afternoon shifts.
• Calm and professional demeanor under pressure.
