Merrifield Consultants are partnering with an international eye care charity dedicated to preventing and treating avoidable blindness worldwide, to recruit a Supporter Acquisition Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to lead multi-channel campaigns that attract and engage new supporters and help to fund life-changing treatments.

Location: London (Hybrid - Tuesday and Thursday in the office)
Contract: Permanent, Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
Salary: £45,000 - £48,000 per annum, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop & deliver a long-term supporter acquisition strategy which aligns with the wider Fundraising & Communications strategy to create growth.
- Leading acquisition budgeting and forecasting by working with internal and external stakeholders to determine opportunities for investment and expected returns.
- Projecting long-term ROIs and planning and modelling supporter journeys.
- Establishing KPIs, monitoring, analysing and reporting them across campaigns.
- Tendering for key supplier partners and negotiating cost-effective contracts.
- Overseeing creative design and production for all supporter acquisition activity.
- Liaise with the Content Producer to ensure we have strong content for acquisition.
- Monitoring acquisition activity on a regular basis and working with partners and internal colleagues to optimise activity to secure the best possible returns.
- Work with the Data & Insight Manager to obtain relevant insight and data selections.
- Provide a regular internal overview on performance to internal stakeholders.
- Protect and develop brand, ensuring usage is within guidelines.
- Build and develop relationships with global fundraising colleagues.
- Contribute to and execute concepts from our innovation pipeline.
- Contribute to wider integrated marketing and engagement planning.
- Collaborate with the Relationships and Partnerships team to develop high value pathways to public giving.
Experience & Skills:
- Managing large customer or supporter recruitment budgets.
- A thorough understanding of the principles of direct and digital marketing, customer or supporter development and supporter or customer care.
- Developing and overseeing acquisition campaigns for a diverse range of audiences.
- Reviewing, developing and delivering integrated strategic supporter journeys.
- Overseeing the development of direct response creative, copy and design.
- Managing relationships with suppliers and internal clients.
- End-to-end project management including set-up and evaluation.
- Contributing to integrated campaign planning & delivery.
- Working with a range of fundraising channels and suppliers.
