We are looking for a Support Coordinator to join our growing Independent Living Services Team supporting young people 16-18 under Local Authority Care across Swindon.

You’ll play a vital role in helping young people develop independent living skills, whilst being part of a charity that is committed to creating positive change in their lives.

Our services span several areas across Swindon, including St Andrews, Freshbrook, Westlea and Oakhurst. Due to the locations, successful applicants will need a full UK drivers licence and access to their own vehicle.

We are looking for someone to work full-time (37.5 hours per week) on a rota basis, including alternate weekends. Part-time and bank hours are also available.

Position: Support Worker (Job ID 996)

Hours: Full-time is 37.5 hours a week. Shifts are on a rota basis including alternate weekends and Sleep shifts. Part time and bank hours also available.

Contract: Permanent

Location: Various locations across Swindon.

Pay: £24,570 per year. Plus, an additional £8,320 per year if completing two sleep in shifts a week (£80 per sleep shift). Part time will be pro rata. Bank is £12.60 per hour, plus holiday pay accrual

^Annual Leave entitlement will be pro-rata for Part-time staff. Working on public holidays due to a rota pattern will be compensated with time off in lieu. An extra day of leave accrues for each completed financial year (capped at 5). Purchasing additional holidays is capped at 5 per year.

^^Contracted staff only. Business mileage (45p a mile) is paid for any daily miles over and above the distance from your home to the allocated workplace location and back. You'll need a well-maintained vehicle with valid tax, MOT and Insurance covering business use.
