We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. We provide our employees with a travel allowance ranging from £200 to £360 per month (for a full-time position).
Duties
- Provide patient care and support to individuals in their homes.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Engage in behaviour management techniques to promote positive interactions and well-being.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a trusting relationship.
- Monitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals.
- Support clients with dementia care, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and any observations made during visits.
Experience
- Skills in patient care, meal preparation, and behaviour management are highly desirable.
- A background in support work or relevant healthcare qualifications would be advantageous.
- A valid driving licence.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
