Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in need, including seniors and those with specific health conditions. This position requires a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients through personalised care and assistance.

We provide our employees with a travel allowance ranging from £200 to £360 per month (for a full-time position).

Duties

• Provide patient care and support to individuals in their homes.
• Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
• Engage in behaviour management techniques to promote positive interactions and well-being.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a trusting relationship.
• Monitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals.
• Support clients with dementia care, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and any observations made during visits.

Experience

• Skills in patient care, meal preparation, and behaviour management are highly desirable.
• A background in support work or relevant healthcare qualifications would be advantageous.
• A valid driving licence.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
• A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
