Salary: £31,173.15 (FTE)

Location: West Yorkshire

Contract Type: Part-time (3 days)

Are you passionate about supporting the next generation of teaching assistants and learning support professionals? We’re looking for a dedicated Specialist Teaching and Learning Services (STLS) Assessor to join a dynamic training team in West Yorkshire.

About the Role

As an STLS Assessor, you’ll play a vital role in guiding and assessing learners working towards qualifications in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (Level 2 & 3). You’ll work closely with schools, learners, and internal teams to ensure high-quality delivery and learner success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver and assess STLS qualifications (Levels 2 & 3)
  • Support learners through their apprenticeship journey
  • Conduct workplace observations and portfolio reviews
  • Provide constructive feedback and progress tracking
  • Ensure compliance with awarding body standards
  • Collaborate with internal quality assurance teams

What We’re Looking For

  • Recognised Assessor qualification (TAQA, CAVA, A1, or equivalent)
  • Experience delivering STLS or similar education-based qualifications
  • Strong understanding of the education sector, particularly school-based support roles
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire learners
