Supply Teacher - September start! - Reed : Job Details

Do you remember the successful Hampshire Supply Service? Keen to work with the same team that previously ran this successful contract?Reed Education Southampton proudly ran the Hampshire Supply Service alongside HCC to support over 500 schools across Hampshire with their daily, long-term and permanent needs. As of January 2025 this service had ceased, but Reed are still supporting these schools plus more with their requirements!

?? We are currently seeking passionate Primary Teachers, Super Secondary Teachers and Supportive Specialist Teachers to fulfil a variety of positions across Hampshire. These include:

• Supply Teaching – day-to-day teaching cover within a 30 minute remit of your location either emergency on the day cover or pre-book. This would entail you to arrive at the school for 8:30am to teach for the day (or in some cases, half a day) and go home – no homework involved! Daily rate of £130-160 per day. 
• Long-term temporary cover – a longer term cover consisting usually of either PPA cover (1/2 days per week) or specialist cover (primary, subject etc) for 2-5 days per week ongoing. This may involve planning but will be confirmed before agreed. Daily rate of between £140-220 depending on experience and expectations of the position. 
• Permanent placements – we have a number of schools coming to us with last-minute permanent teaching positions as well as able to place within the school year based on demands. Paid to scale.

• Qualified Teacher Status is preferred
• Experience teaching in the UK desired
• Available between 2-5 days per week
