This role is crucial for ensuring maximum product availability and on-time, through effective inbound supply planning from European factories. You will play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of market financial targets through proactive inventory and cost management.

Day-to-day of the role:
- Maximise Product Availability:
- Proactively protect future stock availability and mitigate risks using tools like Futurmaster, Power BI, and Excel
- Place replenishment orders from European factories to meet service targets and maintain agreed inventory levels
- Expedite supply through production plan changes, transit time reduction, and booking-in efficiency
- Provide timely information to Customer Service to support prioritisation and communication when supply is constrained
- Analyse root causes of stock shortages and coordinate corrective actions with factories, 3PLs, and demand teams
- Manage new product launches and phase-outs to minimise obsolescence and ensure first order availability
- Drive Efficient Stock Management:
- Minimise overstock and inventory holding by identifying overstocks, conducting root cause analysis, and driving systemic improvements.
- Control non-quality costs by managing discontinued items and aging stock to prevent BBD issues.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to drive timely sell-through of residual and at-risk stock.
- Partner with 3PLs to ensure inventory is well-managed within WMS, with accurate stock status and traceability.
- VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) Customers:
- Act as the key contact for supply planning with VMI-managed customers.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels at wholesaler locations, placing replenishment orders as needed.
- Ensure high service levels by collaborating with factories and logistics providers to prevent or mitigate delivery failures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 2+ years of inventory management experience, ideally in an FMCG environment
- Experience with planning systems such as FuturMaster, SAP is essential
- Strong analytical skills with a continuous improvement mindset
- Demonstrated excellence in stakeholder management and the ability to build strong cross-department relationships
- Aptitude for working with data systems and analytics tools, with recommended knowledge of BI tools such as Power BI
