Supply Chain Consultant - Oxfordshire - Aerospace Manufacturing - Bond Williams : Job Details

Our client requires a Supply Chain Consultant (outside IR35) to spearhead the development of a robust, risk-mitigated and cost effective Supply Chain function for a new production line supplying next-gen products to the aerospace and defence industry.

The Supply Chain Consultant will provide their expertise, for a 4 month part-time / fractional (hybrid) contract, starting ASAP, for the following deliverables:

• Establish a robust supply network for a relatively small amount of externally sourced components, working off established technical specifications develoed by experienced Engineers
• Identify supply risk profile per component and dual source to de-risk key components
• Define supply chain management strategy including sourcing policy and processes including scorecards and auditing as well as adherence to ISO 9001 and continuous improvement approach

The role is ideal for a seasoned Consultant who can parachute in and work with a talented team of Engineers to rapidly understand the remit and take the lead in developing a robust Supply Chain function for this new manufacturing function in an SME / start-up environment.
