This role will operate within a complex, high-volume supply chain environment, partnering with senior stakeholders across multiple geographies to drive cost optimisation, improve working capital efficiency, and deliver actionable insights that shape strategic decisions.Key Responsibilities
- Budgeting & Forecasting – Lead supply chain financial planning cycles, integrating commodity price forecasts, global sourcing strategies, and production capacity planning into robust budgets and rolling forecasts.
- Cost Management & Supplier Performance – Partner with regional procurement teams to analyse supplier performance, track cost-saving initiatives, and support strategic sourcing decisions that align with corporate objectives.
- Inventory & Working Capital Optimisation – Oversee inventory valuation, turnover analysis, and demand planning alignment to minimise obsolescence and maximise cash flow efficiency across global operations.
- Operational Financial Analysis – Deliver deep-dive analysis into manufacturing efficiency, logistics costs, and supply chain KPIs, identifying opportunities to improve margins and streamline operations.
- Reporting & Strategic Insight – Produce high-quality financial reports and executive dashboards, translating complex data into clear recommendations for senior leadership and global supply chain directors.
Desirable Skills
- Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with experience in a large, complex manufacturing environment
- Proven track record in supply chain finance, cost control, and margin analysis
- Advanced data analysis skills, including proficiency with ERP systems, BI tools, and Excel
- Strong business partnering skills with the ability to influence at senior levels across multiple functions and regions
