ScopeHoulihan Lokey is looking for Teaching Associates to assist with our training program. This is a part-time position from August 5th through the middle of August 2024. The length of employment is variable and can be adjusted based on your particular situation. Responsibilities
  • Assist trainees with daily exercises (i.e., public and acquisition comparables, three-statement models, DCF, LBO, and merger consequences), specifically:
    • Handling chat room questions during virtual classroom discussions
    • Facilitating discussion during virtual breakout rooms
    • Conceptual reinforcement of valuation topics, calculations, and lecture materials
    • Sharing PowerPoint and Excel tips" with shortcuts
  • Evaluation of the daily exercises
  • No prior teaching experience required
  • All training will be done virtually and in person in London. There will be no travel requirements.
Role Requirements
  • Candidates must have at least two years of prior investment banking experience in a corporate finance or mergers and acquisitions group, or similar experience in corporate valuation.
  • Strong analytical skills, especially valuation and financial modeling expertise
  • Strong proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, especially with constructing and reviewing financial models
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Team player; patient personality; comfortable and willing to help others
  • You must have your own laptop with access to reliable Wi-Fi
