SEND Student Support Assistant - Sevenoakes

Do you have a car, and drive? Do you have Moving and handling experience? Do you have a valid Child and Adult Enhanced DBS on the update service? If so, I have an amazing opportunity for you.

Engage Education are recruiting for SEND Teaching Assistants for an all-through SEND school that caters for a range of needs, from early years to FE, for children with Severe learning difficulties & complex needs.

The ideal candidate would have prior experience within an SEND setting, or a passion for working with young people. We will also require you to have a DBS on the update service, Engage can assist with this during application.

The needs of the children include:

• MLD

• SLD

• ASD

• PMLD

Desirable skill sets / experience:

• Personal Care

• Manual handling

• Hoisting PEG Feeding Medication Administration Restraint Training

Candidates with healthcare assistant, care worker backgrounds are also welcome to apply.
