Job Title: Strategic Inclusion Lead

Salary: Salary based on experience and qualifications £45k+
Responsible to: Assistant Headteacher
Tradewind Recruitment are working with an Independent School offering alternative provision to young people aged between 11 and 18 years. The cohort of students consist of students with EHCPs and referrals from local schools.
The strategic aim is to widen places for children with special educational needs. The school is committed to academic excellence and character development of all students. The successful candidate will be expected to support and to implement the vision and ethos of the school.
Core purpose:
The Strategic Inclusion Lead will work closely with the Assistant Headteacher and colleagues in the strategic development of the school's SEND policies with the aim of raising achievement in these groups. They will lead strategically and deliver operationally. The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff, support staff, and other stakeholders to promote a positive school culture and to ensure an outstanding learning experience for all students.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
National Award for SEN Coordination (NASENCO)
