As a forward-thinking organisation with strong values and a commitment to excellence, OneRen is playing a vital role in shaping healthier, more connected futures for the people it serves.The OpportunityAs Strategic Finance Manager, you will be a key member of the senior leadership team, supporting the Head of Finance & Corporate Services and deputising where necessary. You’ll provide expert financial advice and strategic insight to support sound decision-making across the organisation and lead core financial functions, planning, analysis and reporting. You’ll operate in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment that values innovation, inclusion, and continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-level financial analysis, insight and reports to the Board, senior management, and stakeholders
- Oversee the preparation of management accounts, forecasts, statutory accounts, and audit processes
- Lead the development and implementation of financial and risk management strategies
- Manage the preparation of revenue and capital budgets, long-term financial plans, and investment appraisals
- Deliver continuous improvements to financial systems and controls
- Provide financial modelling, business case development, and support for transformational projects
- Ensure compliance with tax, VAT, and regulatory obligations
- Identify and pursue external funding opportunities aligned with organisational objectives
- Manage and support a high-performing finance team
About YouYou are a qualified accountant (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, ICAS) with significant experience in financial leadership within a complex or public sector environment. You bring a strategic mindset, excellent analytical skills, and a hands-on approach to financial operations. You are confident leading multidisciplinary teams and can communicate complex financial information clearly and persuasively to a range of audiences.You will also bring:
- Experience in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting at an organisational level
- Strong knowledge of financial systems, controls, and statutory reporting requirements
- Experience working with Boards and preparing governance reports
- Ability to manage change and drive continuous improvement
- Experience identifying external funding and managing public/charitable grants (desirable)
