Our client, one of the UK's largest Business Supplies/Services Providers, are looking to recruit a Strategic Account Manager to oversee a handful of their most high-value clients (minimum annual spend: £250,000). Working completely remotely (with monthly meetings with the 5-10 clients in your portfolio (managing your own diary)), this is an incredible opportunity for the right candidate!Our client provide a range of products/services to both Private and Public Sector clients, and are firmly established as the number one business in their industry. Their success stems from their consultative approach, industry-leading logistical capability and devotion to providing a phenomenal experience to their client base. Due to their growth, they are actively seeking the right candidate to retain/grow key strategic accounts, ensuring long-lasting relationship(s). In a nutshell, your responsibilities will include:- Overseeing a portfolio of 5-10 key B2B accounts (annual spend per client between £250,000 - £750,000)- Growing client spend through a consultative sales approach- Meeting with clients regularly (monthly reviews), in order to strengthen working relationship(s)- Liaising with strategic decision-makers to secure as many selling opportunities as possible, promoting / cross-selling all company products and services- Developing contract documentation and revisions for existing business clients- Researching, preparing and conducting customer presentations- Maintaining excellent customer relationships, and liaising with all internal departments to ensure effective management of contractsIn order to be considered for this position, it is ESSENTIAL that you have the following:- Experience of providing a strategic Account Management service to an external B2B client base- Experience of managing a portfolio of clients with a minimum individual annual spend of £250,000- Demonstrable experience of exceeding sales/profit targets- Full driving licence- Fun, sociable personality!In addition to a very competitive basic salary of £45,000, our client are also offering the following:- Annual bonus (up to £24,000 annually, (paid monthly))- £6,000 car allowance- Full autonomy of own diary (working remotely and travelling to meet with clients when required)- Incredible progression opportunities!Our client are looking to move very quickly on this role, so any interested candidate(s) are urged to apply at their earliest convenience!
