Job Description :

Our client, a prominent company in the manufacturing sector, is currently seeking a dedicated and organised Stores Person to join their team on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing and maintaining inventory levels to ensure efficient production processes
  • Receiving, handling, and storing incoming materials and products
  • Ensuring accurate documentation and inventory records are kept up-to-date
  • Collaborating with different departments to fulfil material and product requests
  • Conducting regular stock takes and auditing inventory for discrepancies
  • Maintaining a clean and organised store area in compliance with safety standards
  • Operating forklifts and other equipment as necessary
  • Assisting in the preparation and dispatch of outgoing goods
Job Requirements:
  • Proven experience in stores management within a manufacturing environment
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to inventory management
  • Familiarity with inventory management software and systems
  • Good communication skills and the ability to liaise with different departments
  • Forklift licence is desirable but not essential
  • Basic computer literacy and numeracy skills
