Stores Controller - Reed : Job Details

We are seeking a Stores Controller to join a growing business in Derby. You will manage the engineering stores, ensuring efficient stock management to support various teams. This role demands excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle fast-moving parts in a dynamic environment.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Stock Management: Maintain accurate levels, oversee ordering, and manage stock issuance.
• Operational Efficiency: Keep the store environment safe and organized, implement effective storage systems, and support software management.
• Team Collaboration: Ensure engineers have necessary parts and assist with financial operations related to stock.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in stock control, preferably in engineering or manufacturing.
• Strong IT and system management skills; Simpro/Xero experience beneficial.
• Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure; forklift licence advantageous.
