Storage Solution Engineer - Bishops Facilities Management Ltd : Job Details

Do you have experience working in the engineering industry with a minimum Level 5 HND qualification or equivalent? Do you have knowledge of working with an automated pallet shuttle system? If so, you may be the right fit for our Storage Solution Engineer position!

Job description of a Storage Solution Engineer:

• Maintaining a fully automated MOVU system by identifying, diagnosing, rectify faults / issues
• Ensure that Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPMs) is carried out effectively, to the correct standard, and on time
• Ensure all weekly statutory / compliance requirements are completed and up to date
• Liaising with various suppliers and contractors
• Completing administrational duties within the department, to monitor spares usage, complete stock checks

Aptitudes and abilities of an Storage Solution Engineer:

• Flexibility and self-motivation are crucial in this time-critical, high-pressure role.
• Must have excellent communication, administration skills and computer literate.
• Good problem-solving skills with logical thinking are essential
• Able to work confidently at all levels of height
• Competencies are split 70/30 electrical/mechanical bias

Requirements of an Storage Solution Engineer:

• Strong Programmable Logic Controller knowledge (PLC)
• Experience in working on automated pallet systems within a warehouse environment
• Minimum completion of HND qualification (or Level 5) in Engineering
• Completed vetting checks/references during application process
• Right to work required
