Location: CardiffDay Rate: £220 (Outside IR35)Sector: FMCG

We are supporting a fast-growing FMCG business in Cardiff with the appointment of a Stock Accountant. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to a high-performing finance team during a period of significant growth.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date stock records across multiple business units.

• Perform reconciliations between physical and system stock, ensuring discrepancies are investigated and resolved.

• Support month-end close through preparation of stock journals, valuations, and reporting.

• Produce detailed management reports on stock movement, consumption, and variances.

• Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to strengthen stock controls and processes.

• Demonstrable experience in stock or inventory accounting, ideally within FMCG, manufacturing, or distribution.

• Strong technical understanding of stock valuation methods

• Advanced Excel capability; ERP experience advantageous.

• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and analytical ability.

• Capable of working effectively in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

• Duration: 3 months (with potential for extension)

• Day Rate: £220 per day

• Status: Outside IR35

• Location: Cardiff - Hybrid
