SEN TA
Randstad Education is seeking a talented and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with complex educational needs.
Job description:
- Provide one-on-one and group support to children with complex needs.
- Assist in creating and delivering tailored learning plans.
- Support the classroom teacher with lesson planning and behaviour management.
- Help with personal care and mobility where required.
- Build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and support needs.
- Attend relevant training and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
- You have an Enhanced DBS check on the updated service or are willing to apply for one.
- You possess a minimum of 6 months of experience working in UK schools.
- You have experience working with children with complex educational needs (preferred).
- You are able to commit to working long-term/full-time.
- You are ideally available for 5 days a week (Monday-Friday).
- You can provide professional references from your recent employers.
- You are eligible to work in the UK (ETW).
- You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- You demonstrate patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
- You are a team player and are able to work collaboratively with colleagues.

Experience:
6+ months of experience working with children in the UK.
