Special Educational Needs English Teacher - Wirral

Are you an experienced and dedicated SEN English Teacher looking for a new full-time, long-term role? Join a supportive and inclusive school in Wirral this September and make a real difference in the lives of students with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Adapt English curriculum and teaching methods to suit the unique needs of a diverse range of learners.
• Utilise alternative literacy frameworks to support student progress.
• Create and maintain a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
• Build strong, positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
• Effectively manage classroom behaviour and ensure a productive learning atmosphere.

Essential Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
• A minimum of 6 months of experience working with students with special educational needs is essential.
• Experience teaching students with Autism, ADHD, Specific Learning Difficulties (SLD), and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) is highly preferred.
• You must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS check.
• You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
