Position: Key Stage 3 Spanish TeacherLocation: Bolton, Greater ManchesterContract Type: Permanent, Part-Time (4 days per week)Start Date: ASAP

About the Role:

As a Key Stage 3 Spanish Teacher, you will play a crucial role in developing linguistic skills and fostering a love for the Spanish culture among students. You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and contributing to the development of the Spanish curriculum. Your expertise will help students achieve a solid foundation in Spanish, setting them up for future success at GCSE level and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences in Spanish.
  • Develop schemes of work and lesson plans aligned with curriculum objectives.
  • Identify and select different instructional resources and methods to meet students' varying needs.
  • Provide appropriate feedback on work and to encourage student participation and interaction.
  • Assess and record students' progress systematically and prepare reports on development.
  • Manage student behavior in the classroom and on school premises.

About You:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a degree in Spanish or a related subject.
  • Experience teaching Spanish at Key Stage 3, with a strong understanding of the curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Passion for the Spanish language and culture.
  • Ability to engage and inspire young learners.
  • Commitment to professional development and maintaining high teaching standards.
