We are seeking a talented and motivated Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team, a recently opened restaurant known for delivering exceptional dining experiences and high-quality banqueting for private events and corporate functions.
As Sous Chef, you’ll play a key role in both our day-to-day restaurant service and the planning and execution of large-scale events. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in both an à la carte and banqueting environment and is ready to take the next step in their culinary career.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Head Chef in managing all aspects of kitchen operations
- Lead the kitchen during service, ensuring consistency and quality
- Assist in the planning and execution of banqueting menus and event catering
- Supervise and train junior kitchen staff
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food hygiene, and safety
- Manage stock levels, ordering, and cost control
- Help develop seasonal menus that reflect creativity and client needs
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or experienced CDP in both restaurant and banqueting settings
- Confident running a busy kitchen and managing multiple service styles
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A calm and professional approach under pressure
- Excellent knowledge of food safety regulations
- Passion for high-quality, seasonal food and guest satisfaction
