Role Purpose
As an Emite Solutions Consultant, you will act as a trusted technical expert, delivering impactful solutions through pre-sales support, customer delivery, and post-implementation enablement. This role requires a strong combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and customer-facing abilities. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, deliver, and support data integration solutions while enabling customers and partners to maximize the value of Emite’s iPaaS platform. emite Solutions Consultants are responsible for being product and industry subject matter experts.
Role Responsibilities and Key Result Areas
Lead Pre-Sales Engagements:
- Drive the entire sales cycle from initial discovery to contract negotiation, partnering closely with Account Executives.
- Conduct compelling product demonstrations and presentations tailored to specific customer needs and pain points.
- Develop and deliver high-quality proposals and Statements of Work (SOWs).
- Effectively articulate the value proposition of Emite's data integration and analytics platform, highlighting key differentiators and competitive advantages.
Become a Trusted Advisor:
- Deeply understand customer business challenges, data landscape, and analytical requirements.
- Proactively identify opportunities to leverage Emite's platform to improve data quality, enhance decision-making, and drive business outcomes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across various departments (e.g., IT, Data Science, Business Analysts).
- Provide expert guidance on data integration best practices, data modeling, and data governance.
Drive Product Innovation:
- Gather and synthesize customer feedback to inform product roadmap and enhancements.
- Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to translate customer requirements into actionable product features.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in data integration, analytics, and cloud computing.
Champion Success:
- Ensure successful customer onboarding and adoption of the Emite platform.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to customers post-sales, addressing any technical or functional challenges.
- Monitor customer health and proactively identify areas for improvement and expansion opportunities.
Other:
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with team members, key people leaders (internal and external), and stakeholders using effective communication strategies.
- Perform other related duties as assigned, within your scope of practice and skill set.
- Participate in Performance Reviews, Training Via KnowBE4 Application, Career Development and Learning & Development as required as part of the Project Manager role.
- You are both an individual contributor as well as a team member, do right by both.
- Perform other duties/activities as directed by the Solution Consultant Team Lead and/or Senior Leadership, within your scope of practice and skill set.

Selection Criteria - Skills, Qualifications and Experience
Data Management:
- Knowledge of data modeling, mapping, transformation, and formats (e.g., JSON, XML, CSV).
- Familiarity with databases, SQL, and data warehouses.
Integration Patterns and Frameworks:
- Knowledge of API management, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and EAI (Enterprise Application Integration) concepts.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs, webhooks, and microservices.
Business Intelligence Platforms:
- Expertise in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or QlikView for creating dashboards and reports.
DatabaseManagement:
- Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Snowflake.
Data Visualization:
- Ability to design clear and insightful visualizations to communicate data trends.
Security and Compliance:
- Understanding of data security protocols, OAuth, SAML, and encryption techniques.
- Awareness of compliance standards like GDPR, HIPAA, or SOC 2.
