Solutions Architect - SAP - Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited : Job Details

Your new companyOur client is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to play a pivotal role in a major transformation programme, migrating from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA.

Your new roleThis is a unique opportunity to join at the early stages of a multi-year initiative that will reshape our enterprise architecture and business processes.Responsibilities & Experience required:

• Lead the design and architecture of SAP S/4HANA solutions aligned with business strategy and transformation goals.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across IT and business functions to define future-state architecture.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the programme lifecycle.
• Ensure integration with existing systems and third-party applications.
• Evaluate and recommend tools, platforms, and methodologies to support the transformation.
• Support data migration, system configuration, and testing strategies.
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with architectural standards.
• Essential Skills & Experience:
• Proven experience as a Solution Architect in SAP environments, ideally with S/4HANA.
• Strong understanding of SAP ECC and the migration challenges to S/4HANA.
• Experience in large-scale transformation programmes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Knowledge of SAP modules such as FI/CO, MM, SD, or others relevant to your industry.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g: Azure, AWS) and integration technologies is a plus.

Desirable:

• SAP certification in S/4HANA.
• Experience with SAP Activate methodology.
• Exposure to agile delivery environments.
