Software Test Engineer - MLM SEARCH - eFinancialCareers : Job Details

We are seeking a Software Test Engineer / Quality Assurance professional to join our clients agile development team for an initial 6 month FTC.

Day-to-day responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers and product owners to define testing strategies and identify risks early.
• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Build and execute regression and system test suites, validating fixes and tracking defects in JIRA and Wrike.
• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure customer-focused delivery.
• Provide clear reporting on testing progress, quality metrics, and deployment readiness.
• Participate in sprint reviews and retrospectives, contributing to continuous improvement.
• Support compliance and regulatory standards while maintaining security best practices.

Experience/Background

• Strong track record in QA methodologies and processes, particularly in front-end web software development.
• Hands-on experience with functional, regression, integration, manual and automated testing.
• Skilled in creating and maintaining automated test scripts.
• Proficient with agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban) and tools (JIRA, Confluence, Wrike).
• Familiarity with automation frameworks, Python, version control, and usability testing.
• Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and stakeholder engagement skills.
