Do you have software developer experience, and are you seeking a new job in Loughborough? Our client is looking for a full-time Software Engineer, and the role comes with a salary of up to £50k and excellent benefits.

As a Software Engineer, you will cover everything from low-level machine firmware to cloud-based customer tools.

To give you an idea of how this flexible role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do:

• Author, review and maintain technical documents such as requirements specifications, design/architecture/process documents and test cases
• Convert product requirements into software requirements and realise these in a timely manner
• Actively participate in all aspects of development promoting modular, efficient, robust and reliable code
• Participate in peer reviews and ensure a quality-first approach to design.

This position would suit an experienced Software/Firmware Engineer with commercial experience in the full product development lifecycle. the following knowledge and experience are also required:

• Extensive knowledge of C++
• Familiarity with Debian QT and the Linux ecosystem
• Experience in high-level languages and tools including C# and Azure or similar
• A relevant degree (e.g. Computer Science, Software Engineering)

As a vital member of the team and in return for your expertise, inclusive approach and commitment, you'll receive a salary of £35,000 to £50,000 and the chance to join a passionate and welcoming team.
