Job Description:

Liquid Personnel is looking Adult Social Workers to join its client's Learning Disability team based in Manchester.

What will your responsibilities be?

In this role, you will carry out statutory social work responsibilities for individuals with learning disabilities, including conducting assessments under the Care Act 2014, developing support plans, and performing evaluations under the Mental Capacity Act 2005 (MCA). You will lead best interest decisions, respond to safeguarding concerns, and manage a varied caseload. The role requires adherence to internal policies and procedures, ensuring all interventions promote independence, wellbeing, and protection.

Qualifications & Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have,

  • Social Work England registration
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Hold a full UK driving licence
  • Post-qualified experience
  • Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
