Opus People Solutions on behalf Peterborough City Council are currently seeking an agency social worker to join their Children with Disabilities teams.

Job Title: Social Wolrker - Children With DisabilitiesLength of assignment: 3 MonthsHours per week:37Hourly rate:£28-37Location:Sand Martin House, Bittern Way, Peterborough, PE2 8TYRemote/Office based: Hybrid, 2 days a week in the office

Job Information:

• Completing assessments from referral stage
• Working with children and families Children in Need, Child Protection
• CLA, PLO and Care Proceedings, Private Proceedings, Deprivation of Liberty within National DOL Court and the Court of Protection.

Skills:

• Social Work England registered
• 3 Years post qualyfying experience
• Manage a workload independently, seeking support and suggesting solutions for workload difficulties
• Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, to a range of audiences including children, young people, parents and carers and professional colleagues
