Opus people solutions on behalf of Cambridge County Council have an exciting opportunity for a Social Worker to join their Family Safeguarding TeamJob Title: Social Worker - Family Safeguarding (Wisbech)Length of assignment:3 MonthsHours per week:37Hourly rate:£38-40phLocation: Awdry House/ WisbechRemote/Office based:3 days in the officeUnder the general direction of a Team Manager, provide a high quality and effective social work service to respond to the needs of vulnerable children and their families in a timely manner and within statutory guidelines. Work in partnership with families using the Family Safeguarding model, taking a strengths-based approach to assess need, plan and deliver focused interventions to safeguard children and promote positive outcomes. Build meaningful working relationships with children and young people that enable their voice to be heard and their lived experience to be understood. Work with multi-agency colleagues and partners to ensure holistic engagement with children and their families.Must have court experience and high end child protectionChild protection/CIN Proceedings.Statements/Care plans, parenting assessments ext to a good standard.Home visits - working with children/families and professionals.If you thrive to make a difference and have Social worker experience,then we would love to hear from you.
