Social Media & Marketing Assistant - TIME Appointments Ltd : Job Details

We are excited to be working on behalf of a well-established and highly respected company on the outskirts of Ipswich who are looking for a Social Media & Marketing Assistant to join their team and contribute to the company’s online presence and promotional activity, helping to build brand awareness and drive audience engagement.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative and driven individual to support the delivery of high-quality content, digital campaigns, and brand development strategies across four distinct business strands—each with its own voice and target audience.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Plan, design, and schedule engaging social media campaigns
• Create captivating content (graphics, videos, copy, and occasional podcast features)
• Monitor and report on campaign performance, making data-led improvements
• Grow and manage social media communities
• Collaborate with internal teams to produce creative and compelling content
• Assist with digital and printed communications
• Support event planning, advertising partnerships, and sponsorship activities
• Liaise with designers and print suppliers to maintain quality standards
• Assist in the upkeep and development of live quote systems with external IT providers

Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience managing and growing social media platforms is essential
• Strong copywriting, visual content creation, and storytelling skills
• Familiarity with Canva, Buffer, Hootsuite, or similar tools
• Experience using WordPress, Umbraco, or other CMS platforms
• Highly organised with a proactive, collaborative mindset
• A keen eye for design, detail, and digital trends
• Comfort with market research and basic data analysis
• Familiarity with AI tools is a bonus!
