Social Media Account Manager

We are seeking a passionate Social Media Account Manager to join our clients dynamic Digital Marketing and Social team. This role involves managing social media campaigns for a diverse range of clients in both B2B and B2C sectors. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of social media dynamics within the broader marketing mix and a proven track record in managing both organic and paid social activities.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Execute social media strategies and manage daily operations across all platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Snapchat, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Set up and monitor social media advertising campaigns.
- Analyse account performance, generating regular reports and insights.
- Support the development of social media strategies and content/campaign planning.
- Drive creative content creation across all platforms, including writing content calendars and coordinating visual content.
- Publish reactive content aligned with current affairs and trending topics.
- Stay updated with digital trends and industry developments to enhance campaign effectiveness.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in managing social media accounts and using social media management tools.
- Proven experience in setting up and managing paid social media advertising campaigns.
- Proficiency in Google Analytics and other social media reporting tools.
- Creative flair with an excellent eye for imagery.
- Exceptional writing skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Highly organised with superb time management skills.
- Proactive and forward-thinking, with a keen interest in the latest digital trends.
- Good understanding of the wider digital marketing landscape, including SEO and content marketing.
Desired Skills:
- Agency experience is preferable.
- Proficiency in Photoshop and the ability to create/edit assets for social platforms.
- Knowledge of video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress.
- Experience in influencer marketing and managing blogger relationships is a plus.
