Social Media & Digital Marketing Assistant – 6-Month Contract - Norfolk Capsey : Job Details

We’re looking for a creative and proactive Social Media and Digital Marketing Assistant to join our friendly Marketing and Business Development team on a six-month contract, providing extra support during a major project.

You’ll help manage social media channels, create engaging written and visual content, track performance, and support campaigns across the full digital marketing mix — from email to websites and podcasts. Working closely with colleagues across the firm, you’ll bring fresh ideas, spot trends, and ensure our online presence reflects our brand at its best.

What you’ll be doing:

• Creating and scheduling content for LinkedIn, Instagram, and X using Canva and Hootsuite
• Managing the social media calendar and reporting on performance
• Engaging with followers and monitoring online conversations
• Supporting website content updates and email campaigns
• Assisting with podcasts and other digital projects

What we’re looking for:

• At least a year’s experience in social media/digital marketing, ideally in a professional services environment
• Strong knowledge of social media trends, tools, and analytics
• Experience with Canva, Hootsuite, and email marketing platforms
• Excellent attention to detail, creativity, and a collaborative mindset
