The role is with CCW who are the passionate independent voice, representing water consumers in England & Wales. We support thousands of people each year, providing free advice and support helping people to resolve their complaints with their water company in an easy, caring way. They champion everyone’s needs and interests, completing and showcasing research that influences water companies, government, and the regulator to make change happen.

What you’ll be doing
As a Social Media Assistant you will play a vital role in growing teir social media presence and supportingtheor communication efforts. Reporting to the Communications and Marketing Manager, you'll have the opportunity to utilise your skills in generating engaging content and analysing data to drive our communication strategies forward.In this role, you will be responsible for creating and scheduling high-quality content across various social media platforms in alignment with CCW’s social media strategy and brand guidelines. You will independently produce low-risk social media content, taking into account reputational risks, and analyse social media metrics to provide insights for future campaigns and strategies.
It is expected that you stay updated with the evolving social media landscape and adapt activities accordingly. Additionally, you will manage essential resources for communication efforts and evaluate CCW's communication activities' effectiveness. You will efficiently help run their social media channels and assist colleagues in effectively utilising social media. Equipped with tools such as a phone, laptop with relevant programmes, and the ability to use a camera and work on podcast creation, you will also engage with experts and managers from other companies to foster collaboration.
