Snr Systems Engineer - Bluestream People : Job Details

As Snr Systems Engineer you will be part of a rapidly expanding global space organisation at the forefront of technology.

As Snr Systems Engineer youwillGenerate system, sub-system and product and software level requirements, specifications and interface definitions

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include

• Performing payload design trade-offs
• Analysing system level performance requirements to allocated subsystems/components requirement
• Enabling risk reduction plans for critical payload elements and satellite subsystems
• Supporting proposal activities for multiple payload programs and customers
• Conducting specification trade-off negotiations with customers and engineers
• Designing to meet the specifications and negotiating any discrepancies with customer

Experience required

• Be educated to MSc or equivalent in Engineering or other relevant discipline
• Previous commercial experience developing and analysing technical requirements, performing trade studies and conducting major design reviews
• Proposals writing to RFIs, including developing presentations to describe the technical approach
• Strong background working with satellite communications technologies, including phased array antennas, digital processing, DVBS2X standard, beam hopping, link budgets
• Extensive end-to-end satellite communications payload design experience
