SME New Business Account Handler - Insurance Recruitment Services : Job Details

Reporting into our Maidstone office on a hybrid basis, you’ll be responsible for handling new business enquiries from SME clients, building strong relationships, and ensuring their insurance needs are met with tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage incoming SME new business enquiries from first contact to policy inception.
• Provide clear, professional advice to clients on commercial insurance products.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Liaise with insurers to negotiate competitive terms and secure the best outcomes for clients.
• Ensure all activities comply with FCA and company guidelines.

The Person:

• Minimum 12 months’ experience in commercial insurance (SME or similar).
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• A positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn.
