Site Manager

Full Time

Monday to Friday 0800 till 1700

Salary: £55'000 per year

Mobile phone and personal computer provided

25 Days Holiday + Public Holidays

Key Skills -

Experience running a busy processing operation managing all day-to-day operations of facility.

Strong experience managing people and building an operational team in a waste or environmental background essential

Experience of Full P&L accountability and H&S/Compliance responsibility for an operational site

Strong motivator and staff management skills required

Duties -

Ensure site operates within environmental permit and necessary for health and safety standards

Staff development and training

Managing all aspects of site operations and the vehicle fleet

Full P&L accountability, driving process efficiency improvements and costs reductions for material handled and treated across all areas of the site

Implement KPIs for all elements of the business to ensure required operating standards and productivity levels are met

Liaising with other sites

Organising and maintaining structure and reporting line and making necessary adjustments for cost reduction or to facilitate growth Responsibility for control of contractors, plant maintenance etc

Full responsibility of staffing including, recruitment, shift planning, training requirements, holiday cover, and disciplinary measures necessary to ensure the safe, compliant, and productive running of the facility

Full responsibility for H&S and compliance day-to-day across all areas of the business

Ensuring full environmental permit compliance and overseeing all aspects of facility management

Cover out of hours emergencies for the site as required
