Reed in Colchester are delighted to be supporting our client seeking a bright, customer-focused Showroom Assistant to join their friendly team. Day-to-day of the role:

• Welcoming customers and assisting them in finding the right products to suit their needs
• Demonstrating products and other equipment confidently and safely
• Using internal systems to manage stock, enquiries, and orders—strong computer skills are essential
• Answering telephone and showroom enquiries in a warm, professional manner
• Receiving and replenishing stock
• Staying up-to-date with the latest product ranges
• Supporting the team with general showroom duties.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Friendly, reliable, and customer-first attitude
• Confident communicator who listens well and understands customer needs
• Organised, detail-focused, and eager to learn new systems and products
• Comfortable using computers for customer records, emails, and stock systems
• Retail experience is preferred, but a positive attitude and enthusiasm are more important.
