Job Title: Temporary Shot Blast Operative

Location: LE67 (Coalville area)

Duration: Monday 12th August – Friday 16th August (initial one-week cover, with potential to extend)

Hours: 08:00 – 16:30 (Monday to Friday)

Pay Rate: £12.21 – £13.00 per hour (depending on experience)

We’re currently recruiting for a Shot Blast Operative to join a well-established engineering company on a short-term temporary assignment to cover annual leave. This is a hands-on role in a busy manufacturing environment, preparing metal components using shot blasting machinery.

• Operate shot blasting equipment to clean and prepare metal parts
• Load and unload components safely
• Carry out visual inspections to ensure quality standards are met
• Maintain a clean and safe working area
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times

• Previous experience in shot blasting or a similar industrial environment
• Good attention to detail and physical fitness
• Strong awareness of health & safety standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Full training on machinery can be provided if needed
• PPE provided
• On-site parking available
