Shift Engineer - Holland & Barrett International Limited : Job Details

Job Type: PermanentLocation: Burton-Upon-Trent Staffordshire (4 days onsite)Hours: 40 hours per week (10-hour shifts)Salary: £Competitive, 25% colleague discount and much more!

The role is multifaceted and requires both Electrical and mechanical knowledge, the successful person would be expected to deal with both installation and maintenance of bottling and bagging machinery.

The Role:

•    Health and safety first every time.•    Reactive and Planned maintenance on a range of Packaging, Filling, Labelling and Sealing Machinery.•    Electrical and Mechanical maintenance of machinery•    Ensure the smooth and efficient running of machinery and equipment.•    Effective communication regarding equipment between colleagues and the production/warehouse teams•    Continuous improvement activities and projects to maximise productivity and efficiency.•    To ensure that Health & Safety and GMP requirements are met by ensuring that all plant and equipment is maintained to a safe and effective operating standard.•    To provide rapid and effective Engineering support.

The Person:

•    Regulations and Legislation standards of all equipment•    Knowledge of PLC's or other such software•    Understand PPM Schedules and standards for all machinery.•    Able to read wiring diagrams and follow them to fault find and resolve issues.
